Heya guys! This has been my second topic and its about Moose! You got an idea who "MOOSE" is? Well apparently, if you happen to be a fan of Step Up's 1,2,3D and 4: Revolution, then, YOU'VE GOT TO KNOW HIM! He's said to be the next Michael Jackson! I admit though that I haven't watched the mentioned series of these Step Up movies, but I definitely know him because I got the opportunity to watch the latest Step Up, which is the 4th series. And every time he shows up, something GREAT would happen. I mean, he's such a great dancer and you can't just ignore that. I do really admired him. HAHA! Bet he's my crush now (Awww...).

If only I'd get the chance to meet him in person. I'd die! HAHA! Kidding aside. Here's a pic of him dancing in the water. Check this one out:

You remember him now? No? Well how about this:

Travel on Foot

Fuerza de San Pedro (Fort San Pedro)

Established in 1565 by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, 44 years after Fernando Magallanes' death in April 21, 1521. Located near Pier 1, adjacent to the Plaza de Armas (now Plaza Independencia), Cebu City. This smallest and oldest tri-bastion or fortress was originally made of logs and mud, and served as the temporary seat of the Spanish armies led by de Legaspi himself. It has been named after de Legaspi's flagship, San Pedro. At 1738, it has been renovated and is now made of coral stones. They had used egg whites and mortars to solidify the entire structure of the fortress.
The fort is triangular in shape, with a total land area of  2,025 sq. meters; its wall is 20 ft. high (excluding the three watchtowers), and 8 ft. thick. If you would include then the three watchtowers, that makes it 30 ft. high already. It has a total number of 16 cannons all in all, and the biggest one can be seen near the entrance.
Inside the fortress, the room that has been converted into a museum, is used to be the place where Miguel Lopez de Legaspi used to live, at the Viviende del Teniente. Beside it is the Cuerpo de Guardia, the place where the Spanish armies use to sleep and rest.
Fuerza de Armas has three watchtowers; two overlooking the sea during the time that it has been established, named Bastion La Concepcion and Bastion Ignacio de Loyola, and one overlooking the land that is the Bastion San Miguel.

Nuestra Senora de la Cotta

The Nuestra SeƱora de la Cotta (Virgin of Remedies).

The Virgin of Remedies has been found inside a well within the fort's premises. It's annual feast day is December 18th. The water inside the well, where the original image of the miraculous Virgin of Remedies was found, is said to be sweet in taste and can cure wounds. It's original image is now in Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. The name of the well is Pozo de la Virgen.

Viviende del Teniente

Viviende del Teniente.
This is the place where de Legazpi used to stay during the Spanish settlement. This has served as his quarters where they would use to have a couple of meetings and planning about their next movement. Now it has been converted into a museum where they kept some old and historical things, e.g Spanish flag, letters of the Katipunero's and such. Other important things has been transferred to the Museo Sugbo.

Bastion La Concepcion

BASTION LA CONCEPCION.
First bastion within the fort's premises. Overlooking the sea so that they can notify if their enemies were coming. You can also have a panoramic view of the Malacanan sa Sugbu and the Cebu Postal Office.

This serves as the sleeping place of the Spanish armies of de Legazpi. It has a roof deck that also serves as a watchtower. Below is the image of the roof deck of the Cuerpo de Guardia.

Bastion San Miguel
BASTION SAN MIGUEL.
The second bastion of the fortress in Cebu. This is the only watchtower that is facing the land for them to seclude the entire place from invaders and enemies.

Almazanes de Polvora (now Butterfly Conservation Area)
ALMAZANES DE POLVORA.
This place is used to be the storage area for their weapons, gun powders, artillery, and for the cannon balls. As of the present, it has been converted into a Butterfly Conservation Area wherein only caterpillars were kept, and once it will fully grown into a butterfly, it would then be set free.

Bastion Ignacio de Loyola
BASTION IGNACIO DE LOYOLA.
This serves as the last bastion of the fort. The one at the end is the watchtower overlooking the sea. The area is abundant with different varieties of plants.
